GNURoot RuneScape Installer for PC and MAC

THE BEST!! This works a treat. At first I couldn't get it to work. But then I realised (@pizza man) that I missed a step. Re did the instructions and it works brilliantly. Would like to see a full screen option but when you look at it that osrs doesn't support full screen then making as full screen as you can would be nice. Awesome work guys.

Cool This is pretty neat. The only issue I have with it is that it's really slow on my phone. I have an HTC m8 and I have full Wi-Fi signal while playing but I would estimate around 2 -4 fps at best. Still good enough to do basic osrs stuff tho =)

Amazing Easy to use, follow the steps and you can't go wrong! The only downfall (which really isn't a downfall seeing as this is a free app) is that there is no sound and no full screen option. This means that you'll have to zoom till you get what you'd like and you can't enjoy the amazing sound tracks.. But other than that, this app does the job well! Thumbs up

Great app!! Easy to learn, moderate to master. Thank you for making this, i love it. If i may I'd like to make a suggestion that may or may not be easy to incorporate. I'd like to see a a mouse function that is click and hold to drag, and upon release activates right click. I say this because ive been having issues with initial click activating properly. It more or less just does the secondary command of walk here, or if by the first attempt to right click, it pops up with the secondary option of walk here.

I love the idea, buuuut... I performed the directions given in the description, but I get nothing but I get a grey screen, and nothing happens. I have scoured the internet for any solutions, but to no avail. I am not giving up hope, but it would be seriously helpful if I was provided with somewhere I could go for help troubleshooting or perhaps a list of possible solutions I could look through for typical problems.. of course, as far as I can tell, this is anything but a typical problem.

Not working on Nexus 6 Says failed to connect error message with IP and port. Followed instructions precisely and it's not working. When installing it says cannot find many packages. Do I need a third app installed?

Camera troubles and lag No trouble getting the app or installing. I followed the steps and it worked perfectly but in game i cant rotate the camera around so getting to places and doing anything can be difficult. It also lags pls help for 5 star rating

What?!? Awww come on.. It use to work great.. I even bought membership for runescape.. But there was an update and now it lags so hard i cant play.. Ive been retrying every few days and looked up on google.. No results.. Some one please help.. Ive re installed, even reset phone.. Seems there might need to be a patch?

Works.. It works, it's not ideal but it definitely works. If your looking to skill it's definitely for you... Follow the steps or it won't work for you, at first it didn't work for me but then I 're read the steps and of course I missed something... But yeah nice job

Figured out why - READ! So the developer runs you through the entire process about 80 percent. What you need to do after you follow all the steps and you're getting the grey screen. You need to go back into the Runescape app, and install updates. Will take a few minutes again, and you're good to go. I have to say it's pretty cool to be on my phone playing but this doesn't deserve more then 1 star at this point. Suppppper laggy, controls are horrible, and at this point not worth the space on your phone. Hope that helps!

Didn't believe at first, but held true At first I thought this was going to mess up my phone big time. But it actually works. Well surprised! Only problem is the super lag, and I can't use the directions to move my camera on runescape. Other than that, awesome

Works but resolution problems Needs to scale to screen resolution for it to be usable. I have an LG G3 and having a 2k screen, this app only uses 1/4 of my screen and makes it unplayable.

Not sure what im doing wrong Doing everything the instructions tell me to do and it doesn't work. Some things seems to timeout when requesting connections on the installing parts.

Still wont work Idk what the issues are but ive tried dozens of times and it just wont ever start the game :'( it sucks so bad cause this would bring back so many great memories

Our devices are the letdown This reminds me of the app boardwalk, which is a minecraft pc emulator for Android, of course it's laggy af but over time our devices will get better and more powerful to play it, lag - annoying for trying to attack things that move. Sound - little annoying not hearing the cow die. Resolution - the zoom thing... Without it being full screen it doesn't feel as good

Tips 1. Once launched, press the ... on the far right next to the keyboard button for an options menu. 2. Set mouse to TouchPad simulation mode. 3. Right click by tapping with two fingers together. 4. Rotate the screen by pressing and dragging with three fingers. (The arrow buttons don't work for me) 5. Adjust display mode to fit to screen. Works good for me, controls still bit clunky but runs no lag.

Exactly what I was looking for! After seeing the terminals load everything I got excited then saw it worked flawlessly! Would like to save it all to my sd so I can put on other devices quickly. Would also like the mouse to drag with my finger instead of only where I touch (like chrome remote desktop) otherwise perfect and don't even need root!!!!!! 100/100 stars. Running on LG G4

Runs fine, but graphics slow to loading; Not sure if this is supposed to work on Galaxy 2 tablet I manage to be able to log in, but the graphics and everything are very slow to responding. Is there any way to make this run better on Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet (running Android 4.2)?

Works perfect With Hackers Keyboard and the one click hold method, Runescape plays perfect. Just follow the instructions and it works great. Note 3. Stop giving bad reviews because you can't follow simple instructions.

Simple to setup, yet flawed While it was simple as butter to install all the libraries, the flaw with this is that it really sucks to play this on a small screen without an appropiate way to select stuff. First get a good desktop enviroment, THEN run Runescape on Android.

Runescape successfully installed Got it to work! Gameplay is extremely laggy though; is there any specific commands I can run to make it run smoothly on my moto e 2nd gen 4g LTE?

Some questions! Just got everything running, it works great! BUT I can't seem to figure out how to. 1.) Rotate the camera, the arrow keys dont work for it. 2.) How to right click. Any help is appreciated

Good This app works and works better than I expected. But this app is best used only when leveling idle skills like fishing, because the arrow keys barely work and it is frustrating to click a lot of things

N7(2013) It works, don't get me wrong. Just It only gives me a 'desktop' in the bottom right of my screen, the game takes up an even smaller area. Near impossible to re-size. When I try and exit, either by changing app or going home it craps out and locks me out of my device. Every time I open anything, like the notification tray, it stays open for a fraction of a second before it plays the minimizing animation. Only fix is to reboot.

Must download!! This is the best! Ive been waiting a looong time to find a way to play rs on my phone and this did it right here. Quick question though, i had a windows ops keeping me from playing and i did something and it went away but now my touch controls dont work. Any help?

Works just more powerful need to exist to obtain full potential Works great, phone lag from not powerful enough phones being made yet, side note there is a memory leak I believe or something along those lines if you rotate phone/ reconnect to launch also increases lag plus the annoying settings for touchpad get reset. The easy fix for lag is closing out of rs debain then click on terminal and xing out window 1. Besides that the developer did a wonderful job making it ez to use and putting in effort so we can all enjoy the product without another PC in teamviewer.

Works perfectly! Fps are a little slow, but when it comes to mindlessly grinding boring skills like fishing and woodcut, you can get that xp in anywhere. Totally awesome.

Gyro Mouse Moving Hi! First off I am a huge fan and have been using the runescape gnu for just about a year now. I would love to use this app but I have grown so used to and love the gyro mouse moving xserver has. Hopefully you can implement the gyro mouse moving and would be more than happy to switch over to this app :)

Good, but one thing... The hitboxes of npc's, etc, arent working well, on my experience. Unrealistic combared pc version client. Otherwise, still aweosome job..! (:

Great needs improvement This is great all you need to do is follow the instructions, the arrows for moving the camera needs to be optimised, backspace on keyboard doesn't work, the delay is OK, better controls would be amazing overall very neat idea thank-you

Always stuck at loading Installed everything fine and went to launch it. It brings up the osrs loading bar but is always stuck at "loading configuration" and never proceeds to load the game

Works on note4 I use Samsung galaxy note 4 and have had little problems. It's not the most user friendly, it's kinda laggy, mouse buttons not that good, and camera angle is stuck because you cant use arrow keys. If not for that this be a 5 star app.

Its works Works fine. Clicking is irritating as hell tho wouldn't use it personally

It doesnt work for me Too hard? Wont work? Search how to play runescape classic on your android device on youtube the download is WAY smaller than the requirements for this app and it works! Hope it helps if this app doesnt work for you.

Very low fps! After installing the new update it became extremely choppy and unplayable, prior to that it worked perfectly. Playing on a Samsung galaxy s6.

It loads up alright, but I can't do anything other than log in. It runs at maybe 2 fps. Anyone have any ideas? I think it may be a problem with allocating ram, but I can't find where to change that.

I followed all of the steps but it won't connect I did all of the steps in the description however when I try and connect to the server it refuses me access to the VNC server, I don't know how to fix this.
