Great game Really enjoyed it thus far on my nvidia shield. I'm not all the way through it yet, but its been great. Graphics and controls are tight, and the difficulty is just right to keep you engaged and not blow through it easily. I'm not sure how the replay-ability will be after I get all the medals, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Great game.
I love this thing! Currently I'm working my way through insane difficulty and I would dearly like to see more levels/upgrades/weapons as I will soon be maxed out. Even when maxed out, the game stays challenging. It works wonderfully on Android TV with a controller on the big screen and it is gorgeous! There are different soundtracks for the levels and some have different weather situations. The attention to detail ist outstanding. Way beyond what you'd expect on a shmup.
Hmmm... So this is considered a different game from my phone to my Shield Portable? It seems that for whatever reason purchases are di So what you're telling me, is the shield portable and my phone are two different platforms? All my purchases on the phone don't translate over to the shield portable... That makes absolutely no sense to me.
The gameplay is great; but the payment model is highly annoying. There's an in-app purchase that makes the rest of the levels unlockable, which is fine, and I ponied up for it--but it only is useful on Android TV, as the developer considers this an entirely separate app from their mobile version of the game. So your in-app purchase counts for nothing on the mobile Android version of the game. And of course your accomplishments, etc, don't carry over either, so you can't keep a continuous campaign going at home and on the road.
This was and probably still is the best game ever on android and some galaxies in a not to distant something. One thing i do regret is just bought a shield and just wanted to check the game out on the big screen... Too bad it didnt recognize my player ID, not about the few cebts spend, the game is real decent compared to games where you can ask your grandmother to buy you some virtual stuff ... only 100 euro ah well, poor granny right, wont mention the name blergh Nitro Nation) so had to start all over grrr just wanted to play level 9 mmm. Aniehoe, still epic game!
Little expensive Great game with NVIDIA SHIELD support. I think it is a little bit expensive.
A Ultimate Top-Down Shooter. Very addictive,Epic graphics, very fun gameplay, this game for me has got to be the best top-down Shooter that has ever existed on the Google play store. This is a must-have for the Nvidia Shield Portable. This game is worth every cent. (This game is a trial, $5 to unlock the full version, but you won't regret buying this game.)
Great game, but i lost interrest when i read that cloud savegame and in app purchases don't carry over to cell phone.
Make it download the saves from the mobile versions... I have downloaded it to my android tv device and i basically have to start over again...
One of the best shooters i played, and love the system with upgrades and replaying levels. i now hope for some more content
Simply Ace! Brilliant and totally addictive! Amazing on Nvidia Shield Portable.
Great game, I don't usually buy games but this one was worth it. Good graphics and gameplay on android TV. I keep coming back to this one. Keep up the good work, more levels would be appreciated!
This game is great. Paid the $6 for the full version and don't regret it a bit. Old school game design with slick graphics and sound. Super fun as a two-player co-op game!
Simple, fun and addictive. If you have Android TV and a gamepad, you have to buy this game.
Solid Shooter This games looks great and plays awesome on the shield portable. My only gripe is that the developer fails to mention controller support and that you can buy a premium version. This is important as there are gamers that look for premium and controller support exclusively. So, next time put it on the fn game description.
Free version too limited, paid too expensive. It was fun until I died and lost an ultra rare power up card, doesn't help that free version has very little content. 3mil+ score and most upgrades unlocked, only two levels to play on. Perhaps allow more levels on free version with large value of stars? Nvidia Shield support is great.
Nvidia shield tablet support? Want to see support for the nvidia shield tablet and not just the portable. No controller support and it seems to be a old 2014 version of the game available on the play store.
Con I'm sure I got this for free on iPhone, now on my nvidia shield its just a sample and you have to pay for the rest! Shame coz the controls are really good and I was really getting into it, oh well delete on here and keep the iPhone version I guess
NVIDIA Shield Portable Very pretty bullet hell. Looks even better on a big screen, which you can't say about most other Android games.
AMAZING Skyforce is one of the best apps I have ever played and is 10 out of 10
Has controller support Great now with full Shield support
Issues with Google Play achievements Great, classic shoot 'em up gameplay, really nice graphics and a fantastic chip tune soundtrack. Would like to play this on Nvidia Shield Tablet as well. Some achievements aren't unlocking correctly. The medal-related ones and the 20,000 stars in the bank one are not unlocking.
Looks great, does not support D-Pad Looks and sounds fantastic but it does not support the DPad on my Game pad (8bitdo FC30), is it assuming the game pad has an analog stick? If that is fixed, be fantastic on my Nexus Player runs smooth too.
Best game for the TV yet. Controls are fantastic. Difficulty curve is great, with each level having two hard modes once you've mastered it. I like the different goals for each level that are all orthogonal to doing well in general. There's real choice as to which upgrade you get and how that affects your playstyle. It's the first game for android TV that's a must have. Update: Great update!
Absolutely incredible on Nexus Player with Gamepad This game could not be more perfect when played on the Nexus Player paired with it's gamepad. Very, very addictive and rewarding, the best of both. Have never had to purchase anything and didn't even know the option to do so was in the game. Actually feel like I should purchase something to reward the developer. If Android TV has more games like this in it's future, we're in for a heck of a ride.
Great game, but XBox 360 Controller issues Hi, it's a great game, I bought the full version. But the split screen doesn't work when I have both the original and Wireless XBox 360 Win USB controller connected. Buttons stop working suddenly.
A gem on the Nexus Player This is the first game that I fell in love with on my Nexus Player. It's a classic arcade style game, but with the modern goals of upgrading your vessel through a store (using in-game currency, not $$$) and having each level have different goals to unlock further challenges. The game play is smooth, the graphics are excellent, and the challenges are solid.
Controller lag I love this game but lately I'm noticing a subtle lag in response to controller actions. Makes it really hard to maneuver the ship. I've tried restarting my Nexus Player & put new batteries in the game pad but the lag won't go away.
Fantastic Game - needs to be enabled for NVIDIA Shield! I've been playing this way too much on my ADT-1. The pacing is great, rescuing Google+ friends makes it a lot of fun. It gets 5-stars for great graphics quality and attention to detail, good clouds and water and an entertaining enough story line. Wish list: Support SHIELD Portable, it's basically a portable Android TV device.
great game, but progress doesn't sync with other android devices great game, but my progress doesn't sync with my other android devices.
Progress not synced Please fix! Otherwise a good game.
Nice game, but no option for auto fire Nice game, but no option for auto fire on Nvidia Shield, that keeps my thumb busy and soon will destroy the A button. Would give 5* if u can fix this.
nvidia shield portable easily the best looking shooter on google play imo. love playing this game, beautiful graphics and gameplay. 5 stars all day long
Having a blast so far Reminds me of iridion.
Awesome I love this game on nvidia shield
